Chartway Group was proud to support The Maplesden Noakes School’s 20th Annual Business Challenge, an initiative that gives sixth form students the opportunity to tackle real-world business scenarios while developing valuable skills for their future careers.
As part of the challenge, students were asked to create and deliver a compelling presentation to a local authority planning department, promoting the inclusion of beehives within a new housing development.
Over three weeks, the students carried out detailed research, worked collaboratively and developed a range of thoughtful, creative and practical ideas. Their final presentations demonstrated an impressive level of enthusiasm, professionalism and understanding of the brief.
The team that completed the Chartway challenge secured third place in the competition, receiving a £500 prize in recognition of their outstanding work.
The standard of all the presentations was exceptionally high, and it was inspiring to see the confidence and creativity shown by the students throughout the challenge.
At Chartway, we are passionate about supporting young people and creating opportunities for them to apply their learning to real-life situations. Initiatives such as the Business Challenge help students develop important skills, including teamwork, communication, research and problem-solving.
We would like to thank The Maplesden Noakes School for inviting us to be part of this worthwhile event and congratulate everyone who took part. We look forward to continuing our support in the future.
