Chartway Partnerships Group ( “Chartway Group” ) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it. As a Data Controller, we provide this Privacy Policy to explain how we process any personal data that we collect from you, what it will be used for and your rights under data protection legislation. 1. Information Collected by Chartway Group

a) Chartway Group collects information when you:

Visit/access one of our websites
Contact us, or otherwise engage with us by telephone, email, SMS, letter, social media or any other form of messaging.
Visit any of our offices or developments.
Complete any of our website forms or request information from us with a view to entering into a transaction with us.
Access information about our developments and/or new homes via a third-party provider, such as a property portal.
Engage with us via social media platforms.
Enter into any transaction with us, whether it’s in person or any other way (for example for service requests).
Create an account or purchase building supplies
Engage in any consultation exercises with us in relation to any proposed new developments.
Take surveys undertaken by us or on our behalf.

Your company name and job title;
Your communication preferences;
Information resulting from enquiries, quotations or sales whether by phone, email or in person, including but not limited to, details of preferred location and type of home, details about the sale of your current house, contact details of your solicitor, and estate agent, details of your deposit and mortgage, the extras you purchase and choices you make and the dates on which various activities in the process of purchasing a home occurred;
Information relating to any issues with your home or order that you have reported to us and how they were followed up;
Information you provide to us in response to a survey or competition;
Any imagery (photographs or videos) taken with your consent;
Details of transactions carried out online or in store;
Details of visits to our websites including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data;
Technical information, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and browser type;
Images/footage of you from our use of CCTV systems in and outside our premises and/or the use of camera systems mounted on our vehicles and/or images captured to record delivery of materials to you and/or images/footage used to capture our premises, sites and perimeters.

2. How do we use your Information?

for research from the National House Building Council (NHBC) to check your satisfaction level and that your home meets the NHBC standards;

assessing and improving our service to customers through recordings of any calls with our customer care centre;
protecting customers, employees and other individuals and maintaining their health, safety and welfare;
monitoring and protecting our sites, premises and assets using CCTV, aerial photography and similar technologies;
preventing, investigating and detecting crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour;
fulfilling our duties to our customers, employees, shareholders and other stakeholders.

3. Why and how your data is shared

Your personal data will be processed by internal Chartway Group staff who have been specifically trained and authorised for this processing.

Your personal data will also be transmitted to third parties that we use to provide our services; these parties have been rigorously assessed for the way in which they manage personal data and may only use your data for the exact purposes that we specify in the contract with them.

Companies involved in the purchase and after sales support of your property, including, but not limited to, solicitors, surveyors, financial advisors, utilities, local authorities, sub-contractors and warranty providers;
Companies such as payment service providers that help us to process your order;
Companies that help us to deliver your purchases;
Professional service providers, such as IT software providers, marketing and research agencies, analytics companies, accountants, debt recovery companies, auditors and website hosts who help us to run our business;
Credit reference agencies, law enforcement and fraud prevention agencies, so we can help tackle fraud;
Governmental bodies and regulators to comply with our legal obligations;
Aggregated data that does not identify individuals may be shared with internal teams, and relevant service providers for business planning purposes;
We may also transfer your personal data to a buyer or potential buyer if our assets are acquired by another organisation. The purchaser will be required by law to use your personal data only as described in this Privacy Policy.

We do not routinely transfer personal data outside the UK or EEA, but in such circumstances, we ensure that we have taken appropriate safeguards to make sure that your personal data will remain protected in accordance with this privacy policy and in compliance with the relevant data protection regulation and law.

What are your rights over your personal data?
