Energy Management Policy

Chartway Partnership Group (CPG) is committed to maintaining an effective energy management system based upon
the requirements of ISO 50001 and ISO 14064-1 that will be facilitated by setting Objectives and Targets which shall
be monitored, measured, and reviewed at least annually. This commitment extends to all Group Business Units
[Chartway Civil Engineering Limited, Chartway Partnerships Group Limited, Chartway Drylining Limited, Chartway
Building Supplies Limited, Chartway Living Limited, Westerhill Homes by Chartway, Let Life by Chartway and OFP
Timber Framed Homes Ltd], workplaces, employees, and others affected by our operations. The five Chartway values
are Quality, Respect, Integrity, Innovate and Sustainable.

This policy statement has been developed to provide direction and manage all operational and supporting activities
undertaken by or on behalf of the company.

The company provides a high-quality professional service to its clients
working with them in a sustainable way and with, where required, any client provided guidelines and specifications,
all whilst complying with all legal and regulatory requirements. The objective of the management system is to drive
continuous improvement, whilst reducing energy and reducing carbon emissions, for our own operations and that

The Senior Leadership Team is responsible for effective implementing of the policy and associated systems, as such,
they will ensure:
• All staff are empowered to operate in accordance with best practice and, wherever possible, go further, by pioneering new
design and procurement techniques and technologies through all parts of our organisation and with our entire supply chain;
• All staff are trained in the operation of the management system;
• All incidents where the specified requirements are not achieved are reported, investigated, and rectified promptly;
• Sufficient resources are provided;
• Responsibilities for energy and carbon issues are assigned to appropriate and competent staff;
• Information on key aspects of performance are reviewed and acted upon where necessary;
• Improvement programmes are suggested, developed, executed, and monitored.
The HSEQ team is responsible for the day-to-day management of the system and their responsibilities include:
• Reducing energy and carbon emissions.
• Monitoring developments in the energy and carbon arenas that impact on the company;
• Ensuring all energy and carbon incidents are reported, investigated, and rectified.
• Promoting workable procedures and encouraging initiatives to implement this policy;
• Periodic audits and reviews to ensure compliance with this policy;
• Providing support and advice on all matters relevant to its operations;
• Keeping staff, and other relevant stakeholders, informed of the efforts to improve performance;
• Ensuring effective communication and consultation relating to HSEQ subjects are established and implemented.

This Chartway Partnerships Group Policy Statement will be distributed to all employees, displayed prominently at
workplaces, and available on request to interested parties. This policy is communicated to all staff and, where
relevant, sub-contractors, is available to interested parties on request and periodically reviewed and updated.

This Chartway Partnerships Group Policy Statement is continuously monitored and developed, undergoing a formal
review annually. Amendments may be implemented as required by legislative changes or work practices.
