upon the requirements of ISO 45001: 2018 that will be facilitated by setting Objectives and Targets which shall be
monitored, measured, and reviewed at least annually. This commitment extends to all Group Business Units[Chartway
Civil Engineering Limited, Chartway Partnerships Group Limited, Chartway Drylining Limited, Chartway Building
Supplies Limited, Chartway Living Limited, Westerhill Homes by Chartway, Let Life by Chartway and OFP Timber Framed
Homes Ltd], workplaces, employees, and others affected by our operations. The five Chartway values are Quality,
Respect, Integrity, Innovate and Sustainable.
Chartway Partnerships Group recognises that achieving high health and safety standards, the wellbeing of our
employees and the communities within which we operate is integral to business performance. While complying with
statutory provisions as a minimum, the Company will take practical measures to ensure continual improvement in
health and safety standards.
The Group Board has overall responsibility for health, safety, and welfare, and the Group Managing Directors accept
their own health and safety responsibilities. These Managing Directors will ensure the provision of necessary resources,
facilities, finances, information, instruction, training, and supervision to minimise the risk of injury or illness and
maintain a positive health and safety culture throughout the Group.
The Chartway Partnerships Group management at each Business Unit is responsible for implementing this Policy and
ensuring the assessment of risks to the health and safety of all individuals, as well as the development of safe work
systems is aligned with the Chartway Group Health and Safety Management System. Health, Safety and Environmental
responsibilities are defined for all Chartway Group personnel in the Company’s ‘Health, Safety and Environmental
Policy’ document.
Chartway Partnerships Group is committed to ensuring that the behaviour of all individuals, regardless of their level,
aligns with an improving safety culture. Our vision is to create an environment where the well-being of our people and
those who work with us takes precedence, and where the belief that all accidents can be prevented prevails.
All employees and contractors are expected to cooperate with Chartway Partnerships Group in implementing this
Policy and the supporting of the Health and Safety Management System. They will ensure their work is carried out with
minimal risk to themselves or others, as reasonably practicable. Consultation with staff and operatives will encourage
feedback for continuous improvement of safe work systems and prevention of ill-health.
This Chartway Partnerships Group Policy Statement will be distributed to all employees, displayed prominently at
workplaces, and available on request to interested parties. The organisation and arrangements for implementing the
Policy will also be accessible electronically and at workplaces for employee reference.
This Chartway Partnerships Group Policy Statement is continuously monitored and developed, undergoing a formal
review annually. Amendments may be implemented as required by legislative changes or work practices.
